Ferndale Pride

June is National Pride Month. Cities across America will hold all kinds of events and celebrations in honor of the "holiday". Ferndale, Michigan will be hosting their annual Pride event this Saturday, May 30th to kick off the month right. The festival includes more than 90 vendors, as well as 13 bands, disc jockeys and other performers. The festival is free to attend and everyone is welcome!

This year's musical lineup is as follows:
MAIN STAGE
1:00 - Opening Ceremony
1:30 - Commitment Ceremony
2:00 - The Gator
3:00 - Madelyn Grant
4:00 - Joanna Ransdell
5:00 - The Blueflowers
6:00 - Holding Hands with Friends
6:45 - Natalie Cole’s Spectacular Drag Race
8:00 - Bitch
9:15 - Nina & The Buffalo Riders

DANCE STAGE
2:00 - DJ Ace
3:45 - Serpentine Fire
4:15 - DJ Dav
6:15 - Octavia
8:00 - DJ Maestro

The festival runs from 1 p.m. till 10 p.m. Ferndale is a great little city with amazing bars and restaurants, including Zeke's Rock and Roll BBQ, Public House, The W.A.B., Imperial, The Emory, One-Eyed Betty's, and Local Kitchen and Bar. We suggest having lunch or dinner and making a day out of it!
