HID's Picks for The 2nd Annual Hamtramck Music Festival

Earlier this week Sadie told you about the Hamtramck Music Festival, taking place this Thursday-Sunday, March 5-8th. Well, it is finally here! Even though it is only in its second year, the lineup is pretty frickin' impressive! Since there are so many great acts playing, we wanted to take a minute to tell you our picks of who you should try to check out every night.

Thursday Night - Kickoff Party @ Fowling Warehouse:
Well, there's only one venue this night and it's the kickoff. So obviously we think you should be there from start to finish. But, Caveman Woodman & Bam Bam Moss are always entertaining and you should definitely check out Six & The Sevens and of course, Ryan Dillaha & The Miracle Men. Who are we kidding? You should see everyone on this lineup!

Sunday, March 8th @ PLAV Post #10:
You will probably be nursing your hangover and pretty pooped out from a crazy weekend. Luckily, there is only one venue this day, so you can drag yourself there and stay put. Another solid lineup from start to finish, but we have to mention Carmel Liburdi. She doesn't play 'til 5 p.m. You should be able to get out of bed by then, right?

To see any or all of the bands listed above, you only have to spend $10 to pick up a wristband that will get you into all of the participating venues. Don't forget, there will be free heated shuttles running between the venues all weekend long. Half of the fun of events like this is jumping from place to place, seeing as many bands as you can, and discovering new favorites. Plus, Uber is providing new users $20 off their first ride. So that means you can have a little extra fun and still get home safe and sound.
