Friday, May 30th - Manic Outburst Release Party @ Outer Limits Lounge: Manic Outburst has a new album out and they're having a release party this Friday night at Outer Limits. Saturday, May 31st & Sunday, June 1st - Tied Down Detroit: The ultimate hardcore fest returns to the Russell Industrial Center this weekend and somehow it's even better this year! Tied Down Detroit takes over the Russell Saturday and Sunday. There are over 30 bands on the bill, and the one and only Turnstile is headlining it all! Check out the full lineup here. Saturday, May 31st - Hell Camino Launch Party @ Cvrses: One of our favorite people is launching a new company and this Saturday he's throwing a big party to celebrate! Mike Moore (Ironclad Tattoo Co.) has a new candle company, Hell Camino. The company features five crafted scents, including the signature scent of Ironclad. Check them out for yourself this Saturday night from 7 PM - 11 PM at Cvrses in Ferndale. And you can bet, there will be amazing craft cocktails and heavy tunes all night! After the party ends at Cvrses, head over to the afterparty at Happy Endings at Eastern Palace Club and get loose on the dancefloor. 

Saturday, May 31st - Ferndale Pride: Kick of Pride Month at one of the biggest and best Pride Festivals in the area; Ferndale Pride! The festival takes place this Saturday on the west side of Woodward on 9 Mile in Downtown Ferndale. The day kicks off at 12:30 PM with the opening ceremony. Then there will be vendors, live music, performances, food, and lots of fun until 10 PM. Admission is free and all are welcome! Check out the full schedule and get all of the details here. 

Friday, May 30th & Saturday, May 31st - Paris Bar: There's a new bar in town and its hosting two great shows this weekend! Paris Bar opened its doors last weekend, at 2961 E McNichols Rd. in Hamtramck, right at McNichols and Joseph Campau. They kicked things off with a couple of great shows last weekend and this weekend won't disappoint either. (Party Store Productions is helping with the booking, so how could you go wrong!?!?) Friday night, Dusty Rose Gang will hit the stage for their Record Release Show. Joining them are Carbon Decoy and Callie Simon. Doors open at 8 PM and cover is $15. Then on Saturday, the lineup includes Expest, Checker, Credit Card, and The Brown Thrasher. Doors open at 8 PM and $10 gets you in. Whether you go this weekend or sometime soon, definitely keep Paris on your radar!

Friday, February 25th - Sunday, February 27th - Carnevale @ PizzaPlex: Southwest is the place to be this weekend! PizzaPlex is having a Carnevale Fair all weekend long! The fun includes Big Time Bingo and a masked DJ dance party on Friday, Karaoke hosted by RV Mendoza on Saturday, and masked trivia on Sunday. There's even fun for kids during the day on Sunday. Admission is free all weekend, but it is suggested that you purchase a pay-it-forward pizza while you're there, with a portion of proceeds going to Sospeso Collective. Friday, February 25th - Valerie the Vulture @ UFO Factory: Head to UFO Factory Friday night to catch Valerie the Vulture (featuring Willa Rae) with Air People and Cye Pie. Cover is only $10 and the fun starts at 9 p.m.

Friday, February 25th - Carjack @ Bowlero: Carjack is playing Bowlero Friday night with the Tony Kasino Family Band! As with all shows in the Bowlero Lounge, cover is free. Tony Kasino Family Band kicks things off at 9 p.m. and Carjack plays at 10. 18+ are welcome. 

Saturday, February 26th - Dilla Bowl @ the Garden Bowl: Don't miss the first ever Dilla Bowl, this Saturday at the Garden Bowl! From 2-5 p.m., enjoy free bowling, a J Dilla art exhibit, music by DJ BET, raffles, and more. All ages are welcome and admission is free.

Saturday, February 26th - Paczki Party @ Detroit City Distillery: If you can't party on Paczki Day in Hamtramck (or you want to party more than one day) head to Detroit City Distillery this Saturday! The party will take place indoors and outdoors. They will have their famous Paczki Day Vodka available and there will be food from Srodeks and Pietrzyk Pierogi. There will be live music too! The fun starts at 10 a.m.

Saturday, February 26th - The Spits w/ Timmy's Organism @ Outer Limits: Timmy's Organism plays OLL Saturday night with The Spits! We love having the opportunity to get you into a show for free, so we have reached out to a few of our favorite bookers to get back into the swing of things.

The Guardian named Modern Nature one of 2019's Ones to Watch. They loved their four-song EP Nature calling it a "new frontier of organic sound". You can hear all four songs here. Happy 1 Year Anniversary, Deluxx Fluxx!

It's hard to believe that it has only been a year since Deluxx Fluxx opened its doors. In 12 short months, the artsy bar and venue has become a staple in Detroit. Party Store Productions and the team at Deluxx Fluxx have brought some awesome shows to their stage, and great DJs too! Plus, it seems like most of Metro Detroit has taken a selfie in their black light room at this point. It's an awesome space, unlike any other in Detroit and a great addition to the city.

This Saturday night, Deluxx Fluxx wants you to come celebrate their 1 Year Anniversary with them! Cover is free as long as you get there before midnight. So don't show up too late! Sounds for the evening will be provided by DJ Ladylike and the bar will be serving up new cocktails. So, stop by for a drink or two, or dance the night away!

In 2016, Toronto-born singer & producer Daniel Benjamin made a move from Montreal to Detroit. Creating music under the name Moon King, he released his debut album Hamtramck '16 the following year. Friday, April 26th - Trevor Noah @ The Fox Theatre: Host of The Daily Show on Comedy Central, Trevor Noah will be bringing his witty stand-up to The Fox Theatre. Although he will only be in town for one night, there are 2 chances to see him live on stage. There is a show at 7:30 p.m. and a late show at 10 p.m. and a few tickets are still available for both. Saturday, April 27th - Chelsea Handler @ The Fillmore: One of your other favorite big name comedians, Chelsea Handler will also be in Detroit this weekend. Handler is on tour her "Life Will Be The Death Of Me Tour" in support of her best selling book by the same name. The tour will be a "sit-down" comedy tour rather than stand-up. Saturday, April 27th - A Very John Waters Birthday featuring Jake Shears: The one and only John Waters will return to Detroit this weekend to celebrate his birthday here for the third year in a row. The party is once again taking place at El Club in Southwest Detroit. Jake Shears will also be there playing songs inspired by the films of John Waters. Mr. Waters himself will performing as well. Saturday, April 27th - Peelander-Z @ Deluxx Fluxx: Black Iris Booking and Party Store Productions are bringing that crazy Japanese Action Comic Punk Band Peelander-Z back to Detroit! They will hit the stage at Deluxx Fluxx on Saturday night along with SpaceSkull and The Imaginatron. Tickets are $12 in advance or $15 at the door. All ages are welcome.





Sunday, April 28th - Death @ Deluxx Fluxx: Detroit's legendary punk band Death will be performing at Deluxx Fluxx on Sunday night along with Timmy's Organism. The band is doing a series of special performances this year in honor of the 10th anniversary since "the world discovered Death’s legendary LP For The Whole World To See".
