Friday, May 30th - Manic Outburst Release Party @ Outer Limits Lounge: Manic Outburst has a new album out and they're having a release party this Friday night at Outer Limits. Joining them for the night are Condition Critical (NJ), MRSA, and Tormentous. Cover is $15 and doors open at 7 PM. Check out the new album, Dead and Dying Fast, here. 

Saturday, May 31st & Sunday, June 1st - Tied Down Detroit: The ultimate hardcore fest returns to the Russell Industrial Center this weekend and somehow it's even better this year! Tied Down Detroit takes over the Russell Saturday and Sunday. There are over 30 bands on the bill, and the one and only Turnstile is headlining it all! Check out the full lineup here. Saturday, May 31st - Hell Camino Launch Party @ Cvrses: One of our favorite people is launching a new company and this Saturday he's throwing a big party to celebrate! Mike Moore (Ironclad Tattoo Co.) has a new candle company, Hell Camino. The company features five crafted scents, including the signature scent of Ironclad. Check them out for yourself this Saturday night from 7 PM - 11 PM at Cvrses in Ferndale. And you can bet, there will be amazing craft cocktails and heavy tunes all night! After the party ends at Cvrses, head over to the afterparty at Happy Endings at Eastern Palace Club and get loose on the dancefloor. 

Saturday, May 31st - Ferndale Pride: Kick of Pride Month at one of the biggest and best Pride Festivals in the area; Ferndale Pride! The festival takes place this Saturday on the west side of Woodward on 9 Mile in Downtown Ferndale. The day kicks off at 12:30 PM with the opening ceremony. Then there will be vendors, live music, performances, food, and lots of fun until 10 PM. Admission is free and all are welcome! Check out the full schedule and get all of the details here. 

Friday, May 30th & Saturday, May 31st - Paris Bar: There's a new bar in town and its hosting two great shows this weekend! Paris Bar opened its doors last weekend, at 2961 E McNichols Rd. in Hamtramck, right at McNichols and Joseph Campau. They kicked things off with a couple of great shows last weekend and this weekend won't disappoint either. (Party Store Productions is helping with the booking, so how could you go wrong!?!?) Friday night, Dusty Rose Gang will hit the stage for their Record Release Show. Joining them are Carbon Decoy and Callie Simon. Doors open at 8 PM and cover is $15. Then on Saturday, the lineup includes Expest, Checker, Credit Card, and The Brown Thrasher. Doors open at 8 PM and $10 gets you in. Whether you go this weekend or sometime soon, definitely keep Paris on your radar!
