Hip in Detroit's Picks for the Weekend: March 4-6

 

Friday, March 4th and Saturday,  March 5th - Corktown Music Festival: The first ever Corktown Music Festival takes over the neighborhood this weekend! The two day festival features over 70 bands at 4 venues. Some of the highlights include Carmel Liburdi, Cult of Spaceskull, St. Thomas Boys Academy, and Caveman & Bam Bam. Cover for the entire weekend is only $20. 

Friday, March 4th - Sunday, March 6th - Motor City Tattoo Expo: The Motor City Tattoo Expo returns to the Ren Cen this weekend. Check out artists from all over the world. Tickets are $25 for a one day pass, $40 for two days, or $50 for the weekend. 

Saturday, March 5th - The Armed @ El Club: The Armed plays their long awaited release show at El Club this Saturday night. The show had been rescheduled due to Covid, but it's finally here. And somehow, there are still some tickets available. Get yours here.
