Everything You Need To Know About The New & Improved Ferndale Project in Ferndale

After two years of changing their plans and pivoting their way through the pandemic, the Ferndale Project officially reopened their dining room last week. This newly remodeled space features a walk-up window that serves ASHE Supply Coffee and Dooped Donuts, a large open concept dining area, and two large outdoor patios.

The new Ferndale Project serves up breakfast, lunch, and dinner offerings and caters to vegan, gluten-free, and alcohol-free visitors as well as people who love unique locally brewed beers and libations. They even have a little grab-and-go style beer market if you want to take a four-pack or two home with you after you sample the menu. Their new menu features soups, salads, wraps, burgers, sandwiches, and shareables. We specifically went to try the vegan Nashville hot tofu sandwich (deep-fried tofu in Nashville hot sauce with coleslaw and mayo on a hot bun) after seeing a photo on their socials and we think it was the star of the menu. It was huge, really spicy, and came with a large portion of perfectly salted and seasoned fries.

ASHE Coffee, Dooped Donuts, and an assortment of pastries are available from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. Lunch starts around 10 a.m. and their dinner menu starts at 4 p.m. each night and is available until 1 hour before closing. The Ferndale Project patio is dog friendly and on crispier nights they have a few fire pits and heating lamps to keep you warm when you hang out outside. Ferndale Project does not take reservations, every seat is first come first served.
