Find Something Fun at Ferne Boutique Detroit

I love the looks that they come up with and how they style the pieces, but I don't like to buy clothing online without feeling the fabrics for myself. So, whenever I see something I like on the gram, I make a point to stop in and see it for myself.  My favorite part about these visits is that I always get even more outfit inspo by looking at how things are laid out and styled in the store. During my last visit, I was determined to buy something cream-colored, but as I started to shop the racks I was only looking at black dresses and blazers until I saw a mannequin that used a cream sweater over a dark grey dress as a way to switch things up. I immediately purchased the sweater and can't wait to wear it on the first fall day that it gets a little cool when the sun goes down. I would have never thought of a scrunched-up sweater as a way to extend the life of a dress, but by buying this one simple piece, I have added color to my Fall wardrobe and extended the life of all of my favorite dresses without spending very much money!
