Friday, July 19th - Sunday, July 21st - Michigan Glass Project: The Michigan Glass Project returns to Detroit this weekend, with live art, music, and more! The main event takes place daily at The Russell Industrial Center with live glassblowing, live painters, vendors, music on two stages, drinks and food. On Friday and Saturday night, there are also great after parties. Friday's party is at Marble Bar, and Saturday's is at The Whitney. Tickets to get into The Russell are $15 a day or $30 for the weekend, plus kids under 12 are free. Proceeds from this event also benefit Art Road Nonprofit, an organization that is actively returning art classes to Detroit Public Schools. So come out for a good time and support a good cause!
