Celebrate the Ho-Ho-Holidays with Empty Houses

For the third year in a row, Detroit's Empty Houses will be celebrating the Ho Ho Holidays in Detroit. They will be hosting their annual holiday show at El Club this Saturday, December 22nd! The band's last album Daydream was released to critical praise and they went from being called one of Detroit's best kept secrets to being one of Detroit's gems. You can hear their last album here.
You can also also start celebrating the holidays a little earlier by coming out to their holiday show this Saturday. Tickets to attend the show are $10 in advance, but you can also get in for FREE if you bring a toy to donate at the door. El Club is planning to host a FREE holiday dinner for anyone in the community who doesn't have someplace to go on Christmas. This event will take place from noon until 4 p.m. on the big day and they would like to have some toys to give to any children that may attend the event. You can help them make someones dream come true.

You can also go a third route and try to win a pair of tickets to the show. To enter please email your full name to hipindetroit@gmail.com with the subject line #emptyhouses. We will draw one lucky winner on Saturday morning and they will get to attend the show with a friend for free.
