Tonic & Juice Comes to Revolver

Detroit used to be known as the Motor City, but these days it's also becoming well known for its food scene. What started off as a few new spots here and there, has turned into a full-fledged food renaissance. Chefs have started to push the boundaries to find new ways to connect their talent to the parents of those that would appreciate it. The pop up limited time dining experience is the new way to enjoy food in Detroit.
The next sensation to hit town will be for a limited time. Tonic and Juice will be hosting Tuesday Night Residency at Revolver in Hamtramck. For the next few months chef, Julién Godman will be bringing the Armenian Supper Club to space for a couple one night only events. This talented chef will visit the market earlier in the day to scoop up some fresh food for the night and then he will prepare a meal based on what he finds while he is out shopping that day. The meal will be vegetarian and vegan-friendly and the doors will open at 5 p.m. with food service will beginning at 5:30 sharp, but you never know what you are going to get until you get there. This is a whole new way to let the chef take charge and show you what kind of delights he can create with food he finds right in the heart of the city at the oldest market in the US, the Eastern Market.

This chef is in the process of opening his own brick and mortar space, so this is a great way to see what he has to offer before it becomes the new hip place in town and you cant get a seat. For a full list of pop up dinner dates, click here.
