Vent About that 9 to 5 at Marble Bar this Thursday

Even if you love your job, some days you hate it. Whether you wake up to an alarm clock every morning, have to deal with annoying customers, or have to do a mundane task to pay the bills, there are down sides to every job. This Thursday you have a chance to vent about that job you love to hate.

Thursday, November 3rd The Moth in Detroit will be hosting a story telling event at Marble Bar in Detroit. This group hosts events in cities throughout the US, giving people the opportunity to tell their story live in front of a group. Stories are 5 minutes long and should be about the topic Moth chose for the evening. This time around it's all about that 9 to 5. The evening will be hosted by local comedian and storyteller Phreddy Wischusen and everyone is invited to participate. Even if you don't hate your job, you still might have a story to tell. Maybe it's funny, maybe it's sappy, that's up to you!

The stories are set to start at 7 p.m. on Thursday. Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased in advance here. 18+ are welcome to attend. If you aren't one for going up in front of a crowd, that's ok! You can always come out to watch! For more information on this event, click here.
