Take the Family to the Zoo Boo this October

The Midwest is known for our beautiful Falls. The cool breezes, the beautiful colors, and some serious cider milling define the season around here. We're also really into Halloween. Starting on October 1st everything around us gets a little bit more spooky, including our trips to the Detroit Zoo.

The Zoo hosts Zoo Boo throughout the month of October. This family friendly event invites families to visit the zoo to go trick or treating after hours. The Zoo Boo features jugglers, live shows, extreme pumpkin carving, a haunted reptile house, and lots more. This event is meant to be spooky fun, not spooky scary, so don't be afraid to bring the kids. Costumes are also encouraged!

This year's Zoo Boo will take place October 7th-9th, 14th-16th, and 21st-23rd. Each session runs from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. and is $9 a person. Tickets can be purchased here. Visit the Zoo's website to find out more about the event.
