Spend Val-entine's with MPV

MPV (formally know as My Pal Val) is kicking off 2015 with a bang. They have changed their name and they are gearing up to release a new EP this March entitled In Lust We Trust. I've been playing the EP daily since I received an advance copy of it and I'm really excited for everyone else to hear it.  The band did a great job recording the music and the songs are extremely catchy, I find myself singing them for hours after I listen to it. If you would like to get a sneak peek of their new music, you can hear a piece of the EP's opening song "Mister Sister" by visiting the band's new website here.

To celebrate the release of the new music, MPV has scheduled a few shows that you can attend before the official release of the EP on March 3rd. They kicked off this week by appearing on Ann Delisi's Essential Music this past Sunday, February 8th. They will likely be replaying the live in-studio sessions throughout the week so make sure to visit Anne's website here.

Next up, the band will play The Loving Touch this Saturday, February 14th for Val-entine's Day. The show is only $5 at the door and the night will include music from The Erers and Those Hounds. MPV will be releasing a limited 7"  at this show that features 2 of the 4 songs that will be released on the EP in just a few weeks!

Then, they will follow up this weekend's show by opening up our 3 Year Anniversary Bash at Small's in Hamtramck a week later. We are honored that they are going to grace the stage and come out and celebrate with us.  We think that anyone who hasn't seen this band in the past should make it a point to come out to one or both of these shows!
