Here's the Scoop on the Hamtramck Labor Day Festival

The Hamtramck Labor Day Festival is one of our favorite annual events! This three-day celebration brings out a really eclectic group of people, has a unique if not odd musical mix of bands, and has reasonable prices on food and drinks. It's also easy to park for free (you might have to walk a block or two, but still) and it's free to get in so you don't have to spend any money to hang out and hear the music if you are tight on cash.

This year's festival will feature food from local businesses and trucks, carnival rides for all ages, beer and alcohol booths, 2 stages for music and wrestling, and some cool local makers and non-profits will have tables at the event. The city of Hamtramck will also be hosting canoe races and a parade. Musical highlights include ADULT, Zilched, Double Winter, John Salvage and the New Twenty Saints, Shadow Show, Craig Brown Band, Dude, Norcos Y Horchata, and the LEGENDARY POLISH MUSLIMS.

The HLDF kicks off Saturday, September 3rd, and runs through Labor Day on September 5th, 2022. Music starts around 2 p.m. and ends around 10 p.m. each day.
