Hip in Detroit's Picks for the Weekend: October 18-20

Friday, October 18th & Saturday, October 19th - Actors and Electric Six @ Small's: There are two awesome shows happening at Small's this weekend! And the venue is continuing their 20th anniversary celebration by offering up tickets for both shows at the low price of $20. Friday night, check out Actors with Siamese and Bootblacks. Then Saturday, they will be having a very special edition of Thirst Wave with Electric Six. 18+ are welcome on Friday and all ages are welcome on Saturday.

Saturday, October 19th - The Human Utility Benefit Show @ The Sanctuary: Check out some great music for a great cause this Saturday night! "The Human Utility (formerly known as the Detroit Water Project) matches families needing help with utility bills to people who want to help through payments directly to utility companies." Playing this show to help raise money for this great cause are Small StressesASKBraidedveinsThe Formal Nightmare, and Macho Detroit. There will also be tables from Sunrise Movement Detroit and Michigan poor people's campaign. Cover is only $5, but you can always donate more.

Saturday, October 19th - Theatre Bizarre @ The Masonic Temple: If you missed Theatre Bizarre last weekend and are having serious FOMO, don't worry! You can still go this weekend. This Saturday night, the Theatre Bizarre Main Event will once again take over The Masonic for the most amazing Halloween party you've ever experienced. Sunday, October 20th - A Love Bazaar - Fall Flea @ Marble Bar: Pick up some great new to you fashion Saturday afternoon at Marble Bar! There will be vintage and handmade clothes and housewares and vinyl too! Plus, KHANA Pakistani street food is hosting a pop up during the event! The market is open from 1-6 p.m.!
