This Friday the 3rd Annual Murals In The Market kicks off in Detroit. This is the event that has transformed Eastern Market over the past couple of years, bringing artists to town to create amazing works of art that now adorn buildings throughout the market and the city. The event is put on by 1xRun and Inner State Gallery. Over the past years they have brought over 100 artists to the city to create murals. This year they are bringing another 50 to town. The artists come from all around the globe and some are even from right here in the Detroit area. They will reside in the city for 8 days while working on their art, with the event beginning on September 21st and running through September 28th. During that time they will complete giant works of art that Detroiters and visitors will be able to enjoy for years to come. To see a full list of this year's artists, click here.
