Win Tickets to Get Weird at Ooh La La Lucha

This Friday, May 5th Cinco De Mayo will be taken to the next level at Ooh La La Lucha at St. Andrew's Hall. The annual party is put together by the Working Class Outlaws, the company who owns and runs two of our favorite places to eat, Public House and Imperial. This year's celebration features The Lalas Burlesque Show, Lucha Libre Wrestlers, amazing food and drinks from Imperial's chef and a live performances by Mariachi el Reefermen, The Benson Twins and everyone's favorite southwest sweetie, Jessica Hernandez and the Deltas. This year promises to be the best year yet so you do not want to miss the debaucherous fun that this event always offers up.

The event is also a fundraiser. Every year they have a variety of artist paint skate decks that they auction off. All of the proceeds form this auction goes to a local charity, last year's funds were donated to The Flint Water Crisis and this years funds will go to Detroit Public Schools Foundation . You can currently see the decks on display at Imperial and bidding will begin soon. To find out more about bidding follow Imperial on Facebook here, they will be releasing the links for the auction later today and its the best way to keep up with everything you need to know about this Friday's event!
Tickets to attend Ooh La La Lucha are $40 and they can be purchased here. You can also get them fee free at Imperial, Public House and at Mexicantown Bakery owned by Jess' amazing family. We also have two pair of tickets to give away to the show courtesy of Working Class Outlaws. If you would like to enter to win you must share this article on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter and tag @hipindetroit. We will message back two lucky people on Friday morning and they will get to attend the party with a friend for free.
