Watch the Vagina Monologues Tonight at the Jam Handy

Every year around Valentine's Day women across the world gather to perform The Vagina Monologues in various theaters. The play, which was written and originally released by Eve Ensler in 1994, has become a must see for feminists world wide. The monologues are a collection of stories that Ensler wrote after talking with women of every background, age, race, and sexual identity. The monologues are usually around 5 to 10 minutes long each and they are very powerful. Some of them lift you up, some of them tear you down and make you cry, and all of them give you an interesting look at what it means to be a women.

You can catch a live performance of The Monologues tonight at the Jam Handy. Tickets to attend this live show are only $10 at the doors and proceeds go to a wonderful Detroit charity called Alternatives for Girls. To learn more about tonight's live performance in Detroit click here
