Hip in Detroit's Picks for the Weekend: December 10-12

Friday, December 10th - Break Anchor @ Small's: It's been quite awhile since Break Anchor has played a show, but this Friday night the wait is over! They will hit the stage at Small's along with Public Serpents (NJ), The Tellways, and A Day At The Station. Cover is $20 and doors open at 7 p.m. If you miss this one, we guarantee you'll be bummed about it the rest of the weekend! Make sure you check out Small's COVID policies here before you head to the show.

Friday, December 10th - The Cheetahs @ Bowlero: Bowlero is always a good time and this Friday night they have some great bands playing in the lounge, so it will really be a good time! The lineup for the evening includes The Cheetahs and Dude with DJ Jam Jam playing the tunes in the lanes. This show is free to attend too, so that makes it even better! 18+ are welcome in the lounge and all ages are welcome by the lanes.

Friday, December 10th - Saturday, December 11th - GRiZMAS @ The Masonic: This weekend, GRiZ will take over The Masonic Temple for his annual GRiZMAS celebration. If you're a fan of GRiZ, you already know that this is a do not miss event. Tickets for the shows at The Masonic start at $35. Each night, there are also official afterparties at the Magic Stick, with GRiZ doing a DJ set on the last night. For tickets to GRiZMAS and more information, click here

Saturday, December 11th - Wreck The Halls @ PJ's Lager House: Christmas comes to PJ's Lager House this Saturday night with the third annual Wreck The Halls show. The bill for the evening includes: THE CULT OF SPACESKULL, ASTRO, SROS LORDS, HELL DOLLARS, DEAR DARKNESS, WOMB WORM, GIRL FIGHT, and PALACE OF AUBURN HILLS. Holiday attire is encouraged and we're sure things will get weird. Cover is only $10. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the music starts at 7. Make sure you stop by and visit Soaked in Bleach and Zug Island Pedals while you're there too!

Sunday, December 12th - Holiday Marbazaar @ Marble Bar: Shop local, sip some drinks, and listen to great tunes at Marble Bar this Sunday evening! There will be over 15 vendors on site so you're sure to find something for someone on your list or for yourself. Music will be provided by Charles Trees, Ladylike, Monico, and Leadfeather. Admission is free, but they are collecting canned goods and winter clothes for the less fortunate. So, try to bring something if you can. The Marbazaar goes from 3 - 10 p.m.
