Learn a Little About Business and Pizza from Michigan and Trumbull (Podcast)

Have you ever wondered what it's like to open a restaurant? How about opening a restaurant a few months before a once-in-a-lifetime pandemic and then having to completely restructure your brand new business plan?

Michigan & Trumbull opened a restaurant in a "new" city, fought their way through a pandemic, and came out on top. Throughout the last two years, they have established themselves as a pillar of their local Corktown community (and beyond) and served up lots of great pizza and sides. We are addicted to the lemon vinaigrette, broccolini, and "Teader" fries, and they make one of the best Detroit-style slices we have ever had.

Sadie and Christie had the chance to sit down with co-owner Kristen Calverley to learn a little more about her, her partner Nate, their path to opening a pizza joint in Corktown, and what keeps them fighting the good fight.

Listen Now!
