Win Weekend Passes to Astronomicon 6

Fans of Kevin Smith movies and the world of pop culture won't want to miss Astronomicon, coming up March 3rd-5th. Now in its sixth year, the event will take over Burton Manor in Livonia for three days of celebrity meet and greets, cosplay, concerts, vendors, and more. This year, the convention has an amazing line up of guests, including Kevin Smith, Jason Mewes, Jason Lee, Jeff Anderson (aka Randal from Clerks), Brian O'Halloran (aka Dante from Clerks), Ethan Suplee, and even Harley Quinn Smith. In addition to Silent Bob's crew, the guest list includes Jon Lovitz, Twiztid, Blothar from GWAR, Doug Bradley from Hellraiser, and more. Check out the full list of celebrity guests here.

Tickets for Astronomicon are $30 for Friday, $40 for Saturday, and $30 for Sunday. A weekend pass is just $70. Kids 5 and under get free admission and kids 6-12 get in for just $15 for the weekend. Keep in mind, photo ops and concerts have an extra fee, and there are also VIP packages available. You can get your tickets online here or you can enter to win a pair of weekend passes from us! Astronomicon Brings Your Favorite Pop Culture Icons to Metro Detroit

This weekend, some of your favorite movie stars and pop culture icons will be in town for Astronomicon! Now in its second year, the event is sort of similar to a comic convention, but way cooler. Last year, even big names like Jason Mewes of Jay and Silent Bob were at the event, and this time around the folks at Astronomicon have another awesome lineup. Some of the stars that will be at this year's convention include Bam Margera, Dee Snider of Twisted Sister, Edward Furlong (Terminator 2, American History X, Detroit Rock City), Linda Blair (The Exorcist), Sid Haig (House of 1,000 Corpses, Devil's Rejects), Jake The Snake Roberts, and many more. In addition to the great guests, there is a ton of other fun to be had too! There will be free play video game rooms, cosplay contests, tattoo contests, free podcasting, Q&A panels, artists, vendors, and more! It is all happening this Friday thru Sunday, February 8th, 9th and 10th, at the Wyndham Garden on Van Dyke in Sterling Heights. Weekend passes for the event are $65, or daily passes are available for $25-$35. You can purchase your tickets in advance here. Keep in mind, many of the special guests at the event do also charge a photo op or autograph fee in addition to admission. So make sure you bring plenty of cash with you! Once you're there, you know you'll want some photos!
