InkAddict teamed up with local hairstylist
Jay Brown to open a barbershop inside their flagship store at the corner of Marshall and Woodward in Ferndale. The tattoo lifestyle brand teamed up with Parlor 13 to curate a cool place for a guy to get a no bullshit haircut. Jay Brown has been cutting hair since 2011 and after years of working for other barber shops, he was ready to go out on his own. InkAddict's unique retail location was the perfect place for him to launch his brand. The large room had more than enough space to add a table and a chair, so a chair was installed, a logo was put on the door, and a new barbershop that caters to stylish men who want an awesome haircut at a reasonable price was created.

The shop is currently open for walk ins on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. He also works by appointment from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Saturdays. Jay had a pretty steady stream of clients while we were visiting, so make sure that if you go, you give yourself some time. You may have to wait! Or call him in advance and book your appointment on a Saturday! Parlor 13 is cash only, so don't forget to hit up an ATM before you visit!
