The band just got back into town after touring the East Coast and they've really been getting down to business too. They were recently featured in Metro Times and you may have also seen them at YpsiFest last week. If you like metal with a 90s feel and you like to party, this is the band for you. The EP being released on Friday is a split with Lockgnar from Minnesota. Although it isn't available online yet, you can get a feel for what Axe Ripper is all about by checking out their album Welcome To Detroit Destruction on their bandcamp here.
Saturday's show is FREE and 21+ are welcome. Joining Axe Ripper on the bill are Manic Outburst, Meat Beastly, and Trigger. Doors open at 8 pm. The Rockery is located at 1175 Eureka in Wyandotte.
